Zooey Hearts Corbi

Zooey is the newest addition to our little family. She is a bunny rabbit with solid white fur and bright red eyes. She was given to me by a group of teachers at school. They came around one Friday afternoon with arms full of bunnies. They said, "Here, have one! We are keeping these! She's the last." Of course I couldn't say no!!

Zooey will eventually be a classroom pet, but she still doesn't have a cage, so she stays at home with us, wandering around the house at will (she has a box, but she jumps in and out whenever she pleases), being very quiet and loving. She's a very social bunny and loves attention.

She also loves Corbin! She takes to following her around the room, and they have a tendency to share carrots. See, Corbin doesn't like her carrots. She wants Zooey's carrot. And I think that Zooey must feel the same way. It's one of those "grass is greener" kinda situations, I think.

Corbin tends to get frustrated when Zooey climbs on her and will push her away. However, there is another member of the household who is more than willing to give Zooey the attention she desires...

He's completely in love! When I first brought Zooey home, Winston would quiver and whine if we wouldn't let him near her. He wants to hug her and sniffle her and follow her around the room! He's very obsessed. Everywhere Zooey goes, the Winston is sure to follow.

And Zooey isn't too bothered by Winston. And if she wants some alone time, she'll squeeze herself underneath the recliner or hop into her box.

So yes, now we have Winston (who just turned four on Monday!), Madison, and Zooey. Does my classroom fish, Darwin, count? He's been here at home for a few months, but he went back to his happy residence on my desk last week sometime. I have the hardest time saying no to cute animals. When can I have my French Bulldog? ;)

[PS. Sorry about the blurry pictures! I hate to use the flash because it completely washes out the pictures, and my camera is very dated, and there's too much action going on to get a perfect shot sometimes!]
