59:365 Two on Tuesday

4/20/10

My most beautiful, perfect, amazing, genius, creative, loving, adorable, and hilarious daughter turned two this past Tuesday. These days with her pass us by in a blur, but I'm so glad I'm doing this project so that I can look back someday at these precious moments.

She got a cute tutu outfit for her birthday from her Aunt Franki, so we got all dressed up and went outside. Look at this bright and independent little lady. <3

There were tons of cute pictures, so here are some of my favorites of her special day. Enjoy! :)

Future model, posing for the camera!

Super classy! Haha.

She was checking out the flowers, and this one poked her in the eye!

The pretties.

Now here she was digging in the dirt, which I was NOT happy about because I had just given her a bath! Look at her nails, grrr!

Love this expression. It's such a Corbin-look. :)

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Such a personality!

Back in the house, enjoying another birthday cupcake that mama stopped to get on the way home from work. <3

Couldn't be happier!

So not only did she have an awesome birthday party, but we made sure her birthday itself was special, too. I got her the cupcake and a helium balloon. That balloon has been her most favorite toy for the past several days. Best money I ever spent, I swear. :)

Well, that's all the blogging I'm doing for now. Until next time! <3

58:365 Siblings

4/19/10

Just a fun Monday, with Corbin playing with her older siblings, Winston and Madison. They were pushing a ball around the room. (I think Madison was staying out of it because Winston can get pretty intense when it comes to toys, lol.)

And here playing Throw & Catch with daddy.

She's such a playful girl. I wish she had more kids her age to play with around here! She could definitely use the outlet to burn some excess energy! She always seems to be so wound up, all the way until she goes to bed. I think she'd stay up all night if we didn't actually put her in the crib!

57:365 Birthday Fun!

4/18/10

Corbin's birthday party!! Oh my gosh, I took SOOOO many pictures (I'm pretty sure over 200), so here's 20 of my favorites! Took me a while to narrow it down, but I think I got a good bunch. And then when it came time to choose THE picture for the day, I thought the birthday cupcake was perfect! :)

The tiara and necklace was from Aunt Ashley and it was definitely one of her favorite gifts, because she wears them here at home almost every day! And I definitely love the idea of cupcakes over a regular cake, so I think I'll stick to that for sure from now on!

And without further ado, MORE PICTURES! :D

The arrival of Haley, showing off her custom party hat! Yes, we made custom party hats for all three girls and ourselves. We're still kids, too, right?!

Corbin's pink party hat and her outfit. It was Japanese-inspired pure cuteness. And I have no idea who gave it to me, haha. Pigtails courtesy of Aunt Ashley.

Hanging with her favorite person in the entire world. <3

Haley and Allison with their noisemakers! Allison couldn't ever figure out how to work hers, so she would just make the noises herself haha. It was too funny.

Corbin and her pink noisemaker. She didn't fare too well, either. :P

Brobee's birthday! Definitely one of my favorite episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba. Corbin and I sang the birthday song to each other for the few days leading up to her actual birthday. :)

Corbin and Grandma Lewis.

Nanna and Granny.

Alli-Oops.

Corbin coming out of the pool room with Granny. She had just got in trouble for throwing the pool balls out onto the concrete floor of the porch. She's got quite an arm!

Time for presents! Looks like a good haul!

Party Hats, FTW! Ashley (preggers!), me (not preggers!), Mandy (preggers!), Franki, and Allison. :)

Opening her first present. I love the look on her face here! She was TOO happy, haha.

This bag was much more interesting than whatever was in it and it went right over her head!

Balloons and tissue paper are much more exciting than everything else!

Allison and her cupcake. I'm not sure how she managed this, haha.

Not happy that all the yummy frosting on her cupcake is gone!

Empty boxes. Hey look! Rainbow Brite! :)

Finally, PASSED OUT. She really had a good time, but she was completely exhausted.

Thanks for everyone who came and made Corbin's birthday party lots of fun for everyone. The next one will be here before we know it! I definitely liked the custom party hats we made this year...what can I come up with for next year? Well, I've got a good bit of time to figure that out, haha.

56:365 Turning Two!

4/17/10

The Saturday before Corbin's birthday party, she got her first birthday card in the mail from her great grandparents in Connecticut. She enjoyed opening and reading her card. :)

It was kinda sad to see all the Twos all over the card, but I guess I have to face the fact that my tiny baby is growing into a big beautiful girl. I can't wait until my sister has her baby in October so I can play with another tiny baby again, especially since I don't plan on having any more myself. :)

55:365 *smooch*

4/16/10

Corbin was in a particularly loving mood last Friday, as she was sitting on the top of her basket of stuffed animals, showering them all with kisses! Everyone got a turn! Here she is with Olivia.

Isn't she the sweetest! Corbin is usually pretty shy about kisses, so I thought it was hilarious that she was enjoying this so much!

A baby doll she got for her birthday last year from Stephanie Horlacher. :)

Toodee getting some kisses!

Mwah!

And kissing another of her babies. :)

She also gave kisses to Brobee, but sadly that picture was blurry. Usually when I try to kiss her she ducks her head out of the way, but I know she likes it because she dissolves into giggles. Glad I have such a loving baby!

54:365 CHEESE!

4/15/10

I'm not sure what had gotten into Corbin on this night in particular, but wow, she was psychotically happy! Let these picture speak for themselves!

I was like, "Corbin! Say 'cheese!'" Corbin said, "CHEESE!" and gave me this crazy smile. Love it, love it, love it! LOL

Tackling the mama, and enjoying every second of it!

Look at all those teeth! Man, I love this kid. :)

Would you believe me if I said she went to sleep not too long after this? Heehee.

53:365 How Corbin Drinks Water

4/14/10

If it's not a sippy cup, and it doesn't have a straw, Corbin has her ways of getting something to drink:

Just take a look!

Yeah, I wasn't drinking any more of that after she was through with it haha.

Also, please note the pen marks all over her body. She is more than obsessed with writing utensils, and when she runs out of paper, she finds her body is a nice canvas as well!

52:365 Vintage

4/13/10

I have a lot of pictures for this day, because the dress that Corbin is wearing is very special to me. It's my own dress from when I was her age, one that my Pop bought for me. I miss my Pop tremendously and it still saddens me that he never got to meet my baby girl, but it is neat that she gets to wear a dress that caught his fancy all those years ago!

Isn't it so precious on her? And it's so 80's, haha. It's in pretty bad shape these days, with all the hems falling out of it and the colors all faded, but it's still cute and twirly!

All the outtakes!

Posing! Didn't you know that Corbin is going to be on America's Next Top Model Cycle 32? Haha.

Love her eyes in this picture! She's such a doll!

This one reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. I've had an idea for an AiW shoot forEVER, but I have yet to get around to it! I'd like to have a better camera! Her shadow looks neat, though. :)

Big happy smile!

Again with the feather dusters! I find myself staring at them in awe at times. :)

Shaking her hair! Told you she was going to be a model! :) She wouldn't do it again, though. Lucky shot for me!

I've put the old dress away for now, as Ryan says she can't leave the house in it, lol. He thinks it's hideous. I think it's adorable. Oh well! :P
