115:365 - Modes of Transportation

So what do you think of the new layout?! I spent a good bit of time working on it today, and I'm pretty pleased. I like changing things up, not to mention it motivated me to go ahead and get myself semi-caught up! I know I'm now over a MONTH behind, eek! My goal is to get caught up before I go back to work next week. Let's see how that goes! :P

This picture shouldn't be anything new. Watching Yo Gabba Gabba, hanging out in the living room, but having a hard time deciding which car to play with, lol.

I think I'll take both! :)

30:365 Sleepy Baby...

3/22/10

On the way to Pooler for my follow-up appointment with my oral surgeon. This baby was out like a light almost immediately.

She does so well on long distance car rides. I hope this bodes well for the future if we ever have the opportunity to travel. :)

28:365 Favorite Toy

3/20/10

Corbin's favorite toy, her Princess Mobile, lol. Here it is being featured again!

Also, note the new haircut. She has sideswept bangs cut in, but on most days (or right after I wash her hair), they fall completely flat in her face. She looks waaay too much like Dora here for my liking, haha.

And wow, she looks really happy about her car, doesn't she? lol

On the upside, so glad it's warm enough for shorts and the beach these days! :)

Corbi-lou's First Car

A couple of weeks ago, our little family attended the fabulous sixth birthday party for Emma's daughter, Dejanae, at this crazy place here in Athens called Pump It Up. It's a place that has different rooms/arenas of different types of bouncy castles. Total fun for all the kids (and everyone else), but not something that little Corbin could participate in.

(Except her daddy did take her up the two story slide and went down with her. She seemed to really like it, except for the fact that she was super tired and withdrawn during the entire party. Very unlike our baby.)

In one of the rooms, they had a few little cars, and the first one that Corbin rode was the pink ATV.

After a few minutes, it seemed that Corbin was not fully satisfied with the ATV. Hence, the overly large pouty lip.

So we found a different car to try.

It seems as though this car was to her liking, as she took the trying to push herself around in it (although she kept going backwards, lol).

Nyla, on the other hand, seemed to find the ATV the perfect vehicle for her, and took off into the sunset, dust flying behind her.

Okay, not really, but they did have a lot of fun with the little cars. :) At one point they were in the coupe together, but Corbin slid out of the bottom of it!

I'm looking forward to the next birthday party we get to attend (as this was our second). I believe it's going to be her favorite cousin's, Allison!

Until next time! :)
