47:365 Fairy Princess

4/8/10

Time to play the catch-up game again! I'm thinking an update at least once a week shall be sufficient! I'm going to try to catch up through her birthday tonight and then maybe next weekend you'll get more, haha. This picture is actually from the Thursday of my Spring Break, so it's over two weeks old!

Let's get caught up, WHOO!

This was the day that Summer came to visit and Corbin was running around the house in her fairy wings from her first Halloween. She was acting quite ridiculous and cheerful, so I think she was channeling her inner magic. :)

Can I have her feather duster lashes already? Sheesh!

A picture of her from behind (because she's always running from me. Something about running away from me is terribly funny). Her wings are sparkly. :)

Her big pretty smile. Such a happy girl! And she's getting so BIG! Watching her grow up is so bittersweet!

And speaking of her growing up *sniffle*, her birthday ticker is wrong, so I GUESS it's time to start counting down to birthday number THREE!!! Time is flying! She'll be in kindergarten before I know it! Aaaaaaaaah!!!

Princess Corbin

My child is the epitome of vain. She loves looking at herself in the mirror and chattering away. She is just fascinated with her reflection, no matter where she may find it: the oven, a large cooking pot, the faucet in the bathtub, ANYWHERE. It cracks me up because she actually "primps" while she's in the mirror by fussing with her hair. If it's a ponytail, she'll touch it. If it's bows, she wants to pull them, and if it's just hanging loose, she's running her hands over it.

Lately she's become infatuated with this plastic tiara that found its way into her toybox. She gets excited when you put it on her, runs to the mirror to see, and then goes to adjust it, which means she takes it off. When she realizes she can't put it back on, she gets upset and then brings it to me to put it back on.

Here's a little peek!

This time she has found her reflection in the glass of the doors leading outside. And she's strutting her stuff as Princess Corbin, devourer of brownies. :)
