120:365 Wiped Out!

6/20/10

This day was particularly exciting because Corbin got to spend lots of time with her favorite cousin, Allison!

We started off with swimming at Granny's! This time I joined them for a bit!

Me and the Ally-Oops! :)

Crazy face, licking the water!

After the pool, we got dressed and went to Great Granddaddy's house for our first fishing excursion! Blake, Corbin, and Allison in the back of Granddaddy's truck on the way down to the pond.

The catfish were awesome, but this is definitely the biggest catch. ;)

This picture is me, stuck in the mud, after I had to go in after Corbin. She insisted she was going swimming in the pond, yet we both immediately sank into the mud. After handing her off to my mama, I had to dig my flip-flop out. Awesome!

And we caught lots of fish, but the girls were TOTALLY exhausted! This was them before we even made it home!

I hadn't been fishing in forever, but now I'm dying to go again! The catfish were delicious and everyone had a ton of fun! :)

119:365 Princess of the Pool!

6/19/10

I can't help myself. There are a bunch of pictures for this day, but that's because she was having such a great time and making some of the most awesome faces, I couldn't NOT post them! :) I love how pretty she looks in her little swimsuit and floaties. She's my princess of the pool! :)

At Granny's, in the tiny above-ground pool.

And at first we were in our star-ring...

...but then we decided we wanted FREEDOM!!

Parading around the pool like a big girl!

Having a blast! Yay!!

Corbin asks to go swimming all the time. I've been meaning to get her a tiny pool all summer, but I keep putting it off. Maybe I'll FINALLY get her one this weekend! I definitely think she deserves it! :)

107:365 Pink Ladies

6/7/10

On Monday my sister Brittney texted me to say she had FIVE ENERGETIC BOYS that wanted to go swimming and invited us to come along! Of course, I said yes! I had just got some floats for Corbin over the weekend and I was excited to let her break them in. We met up at Brittney's house in Ludowici and then headed to her in-laws in Glennville.

Corbin and Tristan (one of my nephews) were quite the pair in the pool, with their floaties and rings. I think he had a lot of fun tugging her around, lol.

Four boys (and one Ryan) decided to jump into the pool simultaneously. (That's my nephew Noah on the far left. The other kids are his friends from school.)

Mid-air!

And SPLASH! Noah was the first to resurface, haha.

Brittney made the comment that Corbin and Tristan were like the baby fish on Finding Nemo on the sponge baths. That cracked me up.

Tristan being ultra silly!

Ryan swimming with the Corbs.

Attempting to swim without the ring float. She did pretty good for a few seconds there, lol. She really enjoys her independence in the water!

Having a blast!

Kicking her feet around in the water, taking a break.

Me and my baby girl in all of our pink! Ryan had to say "Yoooooo Gabba Gabba!" to get her to look at the camera, but it worked! Heehee, we're the Pink Ladies.

We had a blast, but it wasn't long before I realized I was STARVING and the Corbs was ready for a nap. I can't wait to hang out again! It's definitely time for another beach trip! :)

92:365 Making a Splash

5/23/10

I LOVE the pool at the Lewis abode, and I think Corbin does as well! We just have to find a way to keep her afloat that she actually likes! We hit the pool pretty early on Sunday.

Looking pretty stoked about swimming! :)

Looking on as the daddy submerges himself.

Oh no, he's just out of reach!

Her favorite game...to be picked up and thrown HIGH in the air!

One, two, three, GO!!! I love her face. :)

We definitely made a big splash and then she took the LONGEST nap, along with her Daddy. It was pretty peaceful. Hopefully we'll get to visit the pool again soon!

Pool Party Baby!

There's this episode of Yo Gabba Gabba called "Summer" and we watched it the other day. On the Super Music Friends Show, they have the Aqua Bats singing the song "Pool Party." It's an incredibly fun song and has been stuck in my head for days.

AND TODAY! We had our own little pool party!!!

The other day I made Ryan take Winston's pool (yes, we bought a kiddie pool for our dog a few years ago, and I'm glad too because the ones at Walmart the other day were $10!!! What a rip off!) out in the yard and clean all the spiders and ick out of it. And after he cleaned it, he filled it up with water and left it out in the sun. And that meant the temperature was perfect for swimming today!

Needless to say, Corbin was THRILLED, especially considering how much she loves baths and doggie water bowls.

Here are some pictures of my little diva in action! :D

She got those sunglasses with her birthday gift card from Anna. I was surprised she actually wore them!

And she LOVES her ball. She also got that for her birthday.

My cutie-patootie. :) Love this picture of her.

SO happy in the pool!

She kept clapping her hands and going "Yay!" I knew that meant she was excited.

Having fun splashing around with her ball.

WHOOHOO!

Okay, I had to take a dip, too!

Me and my baby girl, enjoying the warm "hot tub" water of the pool.

Join us next time, won't you?

More pictures HERE if you're interested! :)

Until next time! :D
