51:365 Under the Couch?

4/12/10

Vegging out, but for some reason had wedged herself under the couch?

She was happy as could be, though! Snacking on Fruit Loops, watching Yo Gabba Gabba. Could life be more grand? :)

50:365 Dancing with Daddy

4/11/10

I'm jealous of Corbin's relationship with her daddy, but it's not surprising that the two are inseparable; after all, he's the one who is with her all day every day. No one makes this kid laugh or smile quite like her daddy. Here they are, dancing in the kitchen one night as he prepared dinner. :)

Look at how happy she is! And another:

And of course, Corbin had her favorite for dinner: cheese hotdogs!

I love our happy little family. :)

49:365 Little Intellectual

4/10/10

This picture cracks me up. See for yourself. :)

She looks like she's sitting beside the book shelf, perusing her favorite novel. In fact, she's "reading" her Olivia DVD case. Upside down. :)

Gotta love it. <3

48:365 Sparkles...

4/9/10

So I'm pretty sure that at the moment, this is one of my all-time favorite pictures I've taken of Corbin. It's almost sunset at the ocean, and we are at St. Simons Island once again, this time with my BFF Summer. Corbin, as usual, just can't get enough of the gentle waves.

Isn't this picture fantastic?! I love the motion of it, and the sun sparkling off of the water...so beautiful, so full of light. And the vibrant blue of the sky...man, I love the ocean.

Some outtakes!

Giant cup of cherry Dr. Pepper. Corbin was pretty keen on helping herself!

Me and the Corbs hanging at the water. I was trying to keep an eye out for the jellyfish...they were everywhere!! It was sad to see them washed ashore as well, but what can you do? You definitely can't pick them up and throw them back in!

My little mermaid. :)

My second favorite picture from this shoot. I love the sun in the sky. It's gorgeous. It was just a gorgeous day at the beach overall!

Sadly, this has been the last time that we've been back to the beach. With these furlough days, I just can't spare the gas money to get us back down there. I got Corbin an awesome Brobee kite for the next time we go, and I'm hoping that's my birthday next Saturday, but let's hope that weather is permitting! We all know how much my baby and I love the sand and surf!
